Educational Programs

The educational programs at HTCCR include regular language classes as well as occasional special classes, lectures and seminars.

Language Classes: It is important that to preserve our culture and heritage in future, our children can speak, read and write their mother tongue. Towards this goal, language classes for children have been held at the temple for many years. Currently, the classes are being held for Hindi & Sanskriti, & Malayala  languages.  If you would like your child to take any of these classes, please contact for details: classes@hindutempleofcolorado.net.

 

Sharadaalaya: The Hindu temple started the shloka classes (Shaaradalaya) to teach kids various shlokas and also make them understand the meaning and purpose. The shlokas are taught in Gurukula style and abhyasa (practice) of shloka will be done during these classes. These classes are run every Sunday 4pm-5pm, during the school year. Please contact priests for more information.

Other educational programs: Depending upon the availability of teachers and interest of attendees, classes have been held/are being held for Indian classical dances and Yoga. Other educational programs have included public health and investing in stocks and bonds.
