Our Priests
We currently have two well educated priests to serve the temple and the community. Their qualifications and knowledge are described below. In addition, some community members help by serving as substitute priests when needed.
Adithya Ji was born in a Brahmin priest family living in Karnataka, India. He completed his 12 years of Sanskrit Vedic studies at Mysore specializing in Rig Veda Kramantha. He graduated in 2017 from Karnataka Sanskrit University (KSU), Bangalore. After his graduation, he was a priest at the Sri Krishna Temple, Gokulam Mysore, responsible for conducting various Vedic functions and also providing private Vedic services. He attended various Vedic functions like Atti Rudra, Maha Rudra, Sahasra Narikela Gana Homa, Shasra Chandi, Aayutha Chandi, Rigved Samhita Yaga, Rigveda Samhita Parayana and Krama Parayanam in various places like Sringeri, Mysuru, Kalady, Maduri, Udupi, Kundapura, Srirangapatna, and Mumbai. He earned the Karnataka state first and gold medal in Bhagavad Gita Kantastha in Prathiba Karanji from the state government of Karnataka. He passed the sanskrit sahitya (literature) exam with the distinction. He held Rigveda Samhitha, Pada, Krama classes, Bhagvadgeetha, Asvalayana and Apastamba Grihya Sutra classes, Sanskrit grammar classes, and Amarakosha classes for junior students under the guidance of teacher Veda Brahma Sri Raghurama Bhat Ghanapaati. Pandit Adithya Ji has served Hindu temple of Colorado as a priest since January 2022.

Lokesh Ji, hailing from a priestly lineage in Rajasthan, India, dedicated seven years to Sanskrit Vedic studies at Mahadev Shishu Gunjan Veda Sansthan in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, specializing in Atharvaveda moolanta. His educational journey led to earning a Shastri degree in 2020 and an Acharya degree in 2022 from Sri Venkateswara Vedic University (SVVU) in Tirupati, India. During his master's program, Lokesh served as a priest at the Sri Agastheswara Swamy Devasthanams in Tirupati. His academic pursuits expanded further with diplomas in Jothisha and Vastu from SVVU Tirupati, and in Karmakanda (madhyandina) from Shree Somnath Sanskrit University in Gujarat. Notably, he received a silver medal in Atharvaveda from SVVU, participated in yoga at the state level, demonstrated yoga skills, underwent state-level training in self-defense, and contributed to the South Indian Vedic conference MSRVVP with SVVU. Between May 15th, 2022, and March 21st, 2023, Lokesh Ji served as an Atharvaveda Veda Teacher at Navjeevan Veda Vidyalaya in Bramhapur, Odisha. His extensive education and diverse experiences reflect a deep commitment to Vedic studies and a multifaceted engagement with related disciplines across various regions of India. He joined the Hindu Temple as a priest in April 2023.
