Safety, Security, and ADA Compliance
The temple building was designed in full compliance with safety regulations set by the City of Centennial. The building is regularly inspected by the City Building Inspectors and Fire Department any deficiencies are promptly corrected. Certificates are maintained. To minimize crowding, three doors are provided from Prayer Hall to Hallways on the upper floor. Two staircases are provided inside the building along with a third staircase outside to connect the two floors. The basement hall has one entry door from the parking lot, and a large sliding door and another regular door opening on the patio. Proper lighting is provided inside the building and outside.
The doors and windows are well secured. Only a limited number of people have access to close and open the entry doors. A security alarm system monitoring firm is being used. There are video cameras monitoring inside and outside the building 24/7.
For convenience of senior citizens and mobility impaired devotees visiting the temple, there are handicap parking stalls in both lots, ramps to enter the building, an elevator connecting the two floors, rest rooms with wide doors, toilets with grab bars, level surface on both floors and seating along east wall of the Prayer Hall.
