Terms of Service
The Hindu Temple and Cultural Center of the Rockies (HTCCR) provides facilities, conducts programs, and provides certain requested services to the Hindu community in the Rocky Mountain region, particularly the Colorado front range communities. The temple is open to all, and charges no fee for entry or attending the regular religious, spiritual, cultural, and educational programs open to public. There is no membership required in the organization and therefore there is no membership fee. The temple operates with the donation funds it receives from its devotees. Most of these funds are given by the devotees of their own free will as a charitable donation to a religious place of worship. The donations are given as cash, by checks, and electronic means (Zelle, direct deposit, credit cards etc.). All cash donations are anonymous. Even some other donations are kept anonymous, if requested. There are certain private religious services which are offered to individuals and families such as various Hindu rituals from birth to death, house warming, car pooja, etc., on site or off site, for which HTCCR requests a suggested donation, to cover the cost as well as some donation to temple. The temple building has a basement with a kitchen, a stage, and a large hall which helps the interested families in celebrations such as wedding, anniversary, birthdays, death anniversaries etc. with or without the help of the temple priest. Again, a suggested donation is requested to cover the cost and some funds for the temple. The temple reserves the right to demand additional fee in the event we are left with excessive cleanup from such events. As a service to the community, HTCCR arranges to offer language, dance, music, and Yoga classes etc. when there is enough interest and teachers are available. The temple charges a fee to cover the cost and some funds for the temple. HTCCR also helps the community celebrate certain major Hindu festivals at which a nominal fee is charged to cover expenses and provide some funds to the temple. HTCCR is managed and operated by volunteers and does not have human resources to delineate the costs associated with these services. Therefore, it treats the total funds collected as donation. The donated funds are used to serve the community needs. For most services HTCCR gets paid after the service has been provided. When fee has been paid in advance for an event, and if for some unforeseen reason, the event has to be cancelled, HTCCR would gladly refund the money for up to thirty days. All amounts are due in advance. Only the finance team and authorized personnel are allowed to negotiate and collect fee in person or electronically. It is devotee/donor’s responsibility and right to verify and withhold sharing any privacy information. We do not ask for your bank account, social security information or your passwords. Please report any such incidents to the temple at the email address below. Refund requests can be initiated by contacting htccfinance@htccr.org or htccfinance@hindutempleofcolorado.net.
